HCII 2021: KAN session on artificial intelligence

The KAN Secretariat will be present with its own session at HCI International 2021, one of the most prestigious conferences in the area of human-computer interaction that will take place online from 24-29 July 2021.

Under the heading "Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges for Occupational Safety and Health", Sonja Miesner, Communications and Public Relations at the KAN Secretariat, will lead through the presentations in Session S250 on 28 July 2021 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The focus will be on the question of what opportunities and challenges artificial intelligence brings for occupational safety and health, and what role standardization can play in this context.

The speakers will be Dr Michael Bretschneider-Hagemes, Head of the Social Partner Office for Employees at the KAN Secretariat, and experts from the Institute for Applied Ergonomics (ifaa), the Institute for Occupational Health and Safety of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
