In this context, the term "computer" covers almost all types of machines and devices with a digital interface. Such devices are already being used in the field, or are intended for use on an even greater scale in the future as assistive systems in scenarios such as Industry 4.0. Work equipment with a digital interface may be used in the workplace for example in the form of smart glasses, tablets or artificial intelligence (AI).
As in the past, the KAN Secretariat will be holding its own session at this year's conference. The session entitled "Why Cybersecurity is Vital for your Business" is intended to raise awareness among experts from HCI research for the relationship between cybersecurity, occupational safety and health and standardization.
