The Standards Committee for Organizational Processes (NAOrg) was established at DIN in 2013.

The goal of the NAOrg is to be able to respond quickly and competently to new work items relating to organization and management standards and to organize the broadest possible participation by the stakeholders. Numerous proposals for such work items have been submitted in recent years to ISO, the International Standards Organization. These proposals have potentially far-reaching effects upon processes in organizations and companies. The standards committee has for example formed technical committees on compliance management, OSH management and risk management, which mirror the work of the corresponding ISO committees.

The course of the NAOrg is guided on the steering committee by representatives from the umbrella associations of German industry, the research sector, test bodies, occupational safety and environment bodies, and government representatives. An important objective of the steering committee is to provide other standards bodies with information on standards concerning organizational processes. This is intended to promote their inclusion in existing management system standards and facilitate their integration into the management systems of companies and organizations.

Eckhard Metze, Head of the employers' liaison office at the KAN Secretariat, was elected Chairman of the NAOrg on 10 December 2019. He succeeds Mathias Wernicke (EADS Deutschland GmbH) in this role.
