A+A Congress 2021 starting soon

The 37th International A+A Congress organized by the Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi) will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 26 to 29 October 2021. Various aspects of occupational safety and health will be addressed in over 25 conference sessions.

During the opening session on 26 October, "Occupational safety and health of the future" will be discussed in a panel discussion, followed by the German Occupational Safety and Health Award ceremony.

KAN will be represented at the congress with the following papers and talks:

  • 26 October 2021, 3:45 pm, lecture by Angela Janowitz on "Work premises and standardization – new developments" in the "Work premises" session
  • 27 October 2021, 10:10 am, lecture by Dr. Michael Thierbach on "A critical view of the European standardization project for community face coverings" in the "Mask confusion in the pandemic" session
  • 28 October 2021, 4:30 pm, round table with Freeric Meier on "Human resources management in the focus of standardization - a highly explosive topic?!“ in the "Occupational safety and health management systems" session

For all those not attending the congress on site, selected sessions are available as live streams.

In the Trend Forum, current topics relating to digitalization, safety, health, sustainability and hazardous substances will be presented on the live stage in Hall 4 of the A+A 2021 trade fair. Simultaneous translation into English will be provided. KAN will be represented in the Trend Forum with the following event:

  • 29 October 2021, 12:40 pm, lecture by Dr Anna Dammann on the non-visual effects of light
