ETUI survey on ISO 45001 (OSH management systems)

The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) calls upon employees to take part in a survey on health and safety at work and, in particular, on the adoption by companies of the ISO 45001 standard on occupational health and safety management systems.

The project is being conducted by researchers from various European Universities and specifically aims to study the impact of the ISO 45001 standard on the effectiveness of health and safety measures implemented by certified companies, with particular reference to the participation and consultation of workers and their representatives.

On the one hand, the survey aims to study the impact of ISO 45001 on company policy in the area of occupational health and safety, with a specific focus on:

  • Companies' compliance with legal regulations and collective agreements 
  • The consultation and participation of workers, their representatives and trade unions
  • The frequency and quality of monitoring and control activities

On the other hand, the survey is to identify possible case studies to be examined for the purposes of the project.

The survey will remain open until 24 April 2026. It takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
