By rail
From Bonn central station or Siegburg station (ICE stop): Take the underground line 66 "Telekom Express" (Bonn-Siegburg) as far as station "Hangelar-Ost" (16 minutes from Bonn, 7 minutes from Siegburg). Ten to fifteen minutes walk to entrance gate "DGUV" (see detailed map).

By air (Köln-Bonn Airport; CGN)
There are several ways to reach the KAN-Geschäftsstelle from Cologne-Bonn Airport:

  1. Train S 13 to Porz/Wahn (3 minutes). Continue by train S 12 to Siegburg (8 minutes), then by underground line 66 to station "Hangelar Ost" (7 minutes, see description above).
  2. Airport shuttle (line SB60; map of the bus station) to Bonn central station (32 minutes), then underground line 66
    (see description above).
  3. A taxi takes about 20 minutes from the airport to KAN.

An ICE (Intercity Express) operates between Frankfurt and Düsseldorf airports and Siegburg (for directions from Siegburg railway station, see "By rail").

By road
Approach from the North via A 59
Leave the A 59 (motorway from the airport) at exit "Beuel/Hangelar". Turn right and follow the B 56 sign posted "Siegburg/Sankt Augustin-Hangelar. After 2.8 km turn right into the "Alte Heerstrasse" (nameplate "DGUV"). Turn left after another 0.6 km (entrance gate "DGUV").

Approach from the West via A 565
Junction Bonn-Nord: Continue on the A 565 (crossing the "Friedrich-Ebert-Brücke") as far as junction Bonn-Beuel, where you take the A 59 direction "Königswinter". Leave at the first exit "Beuel/Hangelar", continue as described above.

Approach from the South via A 3 (E 5) Frankfurt-Köln
Junction Bonn/Siegburg: Take the A 560, direction Bonn. Leave at the first exit (Niederpleis). Turn right following direction "Niederpleis". Turn left into the "Alte Heerstrasse" (nameplate "DGUV") at the crossing situated at about 1.1 km after the sign "Niederpleis". Turn right after another 1.7 km (entrance gate "DGUV").
