European network for occupational safety and health experts (EUROSHNET)

Contact: Michael Robert (robert@kan.de) or Sonja Miesner (miesner@kan.de)

EUROSHNET (www.euroshnet.eu) is an international network of experts involved in occupational safety and health. It was created against the backdrop of growing internationalization of standardization on the one hand and diminishing resources of the OSH lobby on the other. The network is intended to facilitate contact between OSH experts, to promote discussion of issues of common interest, and to disseminate information relevant to occupational safety and health.

EUROSHNET consists of a web-based, English-language communication platform with two areas. The restricted area is accessible only by means of a personal password and only to registered experts from European OSH institutions who are active in the areas of standardization, testing, certification, or associated research. In addition to fora on different areas of occupational safety and health, the restricted area also features a database of experts and documents. The public area is accessible to all. Like the restricted area, it features fora on various OSH-related topics.
